A
GREAT BIG THANKS TO ALL!!!
Well,
The Harp Gathering 2009 was an absolute blast and it's

the folk magazine, Dirty Linen.
All
of us here at Harp Gathering H.Q. look forward to

More
News to Report!!!
Well.
there is lots to tell so lets get started....
First,
Denise and I had a great planning meeting at the Sauder
Village - Heritage Inn and everything is shaping up splendidly
(WooHoo!!!). We did some meal and reception planning
along with some logistical and production planning.
During our meeting the Inn did inform us that they
will need to release our remaining rooms that we have on
reserve late next week. If you are planning to stay at
the Heritage Inn, please be sure to make your
reservations as soon as possible as the Inn does have a
fairly extensive waiting list and the remaining rooms
may not be available for long thereafter (BooHoo!!!).
When making your reservations, contact
the
Sauder Village - Heritage
Inn, and let them know you need "The Harp
Gathering 2009" room rates. For reservations call
the Inn directly at 419.445.6408 or 800.590.9755.
Next,
We have more prizes posted for the Harp Hunt and
Gather(ing). Just when you think it couldn't get any
bigger and then, BAM, more prizes make their way into
our little drawing (doesn't it just make you feel warm
and fuzzy all over!?!?). Check out these great prizes:
From Verlene Schermer,
two of her amazing CDs.
- Peace
- Wishing You Well

From
Barbara Ann Fackler at Pretty Quick Music, several of her music books.

- Il est ne

Next,
two "ArtnHarp" cards combining original art and an original musical
arrangement are being provided by husband and wife team Michael Mullen and Christa
Grix.
Together these unique gifts, "Love in Bloom" and "Silent Night"
were created in honor of life's celebrations. Mike's scenes are drawn, transferred to a block, carved by hand, then printed on a letter press. Each limited-edition relief print is an original work of art and fits perfectly into a 5"x7" frame.
The music is arranged and recorded by Christa on the harp. Her arrangements combine the harp's exquisite sonorities enhanced by lush harmonies to create a
thoughtful treatment of timeless music.

And
finally, all of us here at Harp Gathering H.Q. are proud
to announce that there will be a special book signing
with Harpist and Author of "The Harp Mouse Chooses
Her Home: The Adventure Begins", Diane E. Dunn at
the Friday evening reception after the concert!

Oh,
and one more thing...

*****Clarification*****
Just a note to everyone regarding the rooms that the Inn will be releasing...
Even though the Inn is releasing some of our rooms this doesn't mean that there are no more available. They
ARE NOT taking our whole block, just a few. The reason for the postings and emails is due to the great number of registrations that we are
receiving already! We still have rooms left and we are also getting messages from those who are interested in sharing rooms, so don't mistake the previous message to mean that we have no more rooms left at the Inn! We do : )
On another note....
The Early bird registration period is getting close so do pay attention to the calendar and get those registrations in with a postmark by March 16, 2009 and save $90.00 off the on-site registration!!! If you do happen to miss the Early Bird registration you can still save $45.00 off the on-site registration if you get your paid registration to us with a postmark by May 1, 2009.
So come one, come all and lets have a rockin' great time in 2009. As always..."We look forward to seeing you at The Harp Gathering!" Click

Attention...Very
Important Information!!! We
just got word from The Sauder Village, Heritage
Inn that they will need to release some rooms out
of our block due to the high volume of interest in
reservations for that particular weekend at the
Inn. So far we have had a huge influx of
registrations, and rooms are reserving at a steady
pace, but after the Inn releases the rooms
mentioned above it will get tight really quick.
So, please be sure to, at
least,
contact the Sauder Village, Heritage Inn and get
your room reservations made as soon as possible!!! Contact
the
Sauder Village - Heritage
Inn, and let them know you need "The Harp
Gathering 2009" room rates. For reservations call
the Inn directly at 419.445.6408 or 800.590.9755. Thanks,
so much, for all of your attention in this
matter and as always, "We look forward to
seeing you at The Harp Gathering!" Click
